Konica Minolta mounts the Aussie launch for its next generation high-speed monochrome digital bizhub printer series.
Setting a new standard in black and white printing, Konica Minolta has launched the highly anticipated bizhub PRESS 1250 and the bizhub PRESS 1052 series, ideal for commercial printing and corporate environments that demand reliable high volume printing.
These digital monochrome presses are Konica Minolta’s new power houses that feature Konica Minolta’s fastest output speeds. They offer superior, high resolution print quality as well as strength, versatile paper handling and numerous finishing options. Their capacities ensure they can be used across multiple businesses to enhance performance and productivity.
The bizhub PRESS 1250 runs at speeds of up to 125 ppm, and is built for a heavy-duty production cycle of up to 3,000,000 impressions per month. The bizhub PRESS 1052 prints up to 105 ppm and both models feature tandem printing capability that double their output speed for big jobs on the tightest of deadlines.
Air Suction media handling will keep jobs running smoothly on a vast number of media stocks, with precision. The range of finishing options has proven capabilities that are well regarded in the industry, with the addition of the NEW Konica Minolta GP-502 Auto Punch Binder for this series of product, Konica Minolta expands its capabilities further, while delivering an unrivalled business advantage in digital in line finishing capabilities.

At the heart of the bizhub PRESS performance is Konica Minolta’s exclusive “Simitri High Definition Polymerised Toner” which uses smaller and more consistently shaped particles to reproduce fine details with greater precision. “Blacks are produced with solid consistency and Halftone Images are smoothly represented on the page”
Konica Minolta is able to offer a dedicated “Envelope Fixing Unit” that can be swapped by operators, when the requirement for Envelope printing is required. This option represents a great opportunity to expand into this unique printing market.
The NEW series prints at a greatly reduced fixing temperature which limits the effect of heat stress on the media in the fixing process, allowing greater scope for faster print speeds.
The intelligent energy saving modes that automatically switching off power circuits when not required together with the low temperature fusing will ensure the bizhub PRESS 1250 and 1052 support Konica Minolta’s environmental sustainability initiatives.
