Konica Minolta scoops up six BERTL awards
"We are extremely pleased with the BERTL innovation awards recognising Konica Monolta's drive to improve and advance the multifunctional product (MFP) industry," said John Venett, national marketing manager.
Konica Minolta was awarded BERTL's Best if three categories: best departmental colour MFP range with an outstanding print feature set, best desktop document management application and best light production monochrome MFP range with an outstanding print feature. It also received three innovation awards for: biometric authentification for the bizhub C550, bizhub C550 user box feature and printgroove.
Margie Davis, managing director of BERTL praised the company for its achievements and for pushing the limits with its work. "In many instances, today's innovation becomes tomorrow's business necessity and Konica Minolta's solutions will clearly shape the way the market will look in a year or two," she said.
It is hoped that these awards will have a positive effect on the long-term reputation of Konica Minolta. John Venett, national marketing manager, Konica Minolta Business Solutions, said that the taking out six awards was a significant victory. “BERTL’s product evaluations and awards are entirely independent and objective, with a main focus on the consumer," he said. "Being recognised in so many categories, particularly the awards in innovation, reinforces Konica Minolta’s reputation as a leading industry force.”
