KPG team with Apple to make Virtual Proofing a reality
The process of Virtual Proofing is sweeping the industry and changing the way workflows are completed, allowing for a seamless proofing of work over the internet and ensuring the colours seen on monitors are matched exactly with the finished product.
KPG is an industry leader when it comes to delivering faultless colour accuracy, and with its RealTime Proof and Matchprint Virtual software it has made Virtual Proofing a reality. KPG has now teamed up with Apple, whose cinema display monitors represent the most accomplished way to display proof-perfect colours, and together the two hi-tech firms are holding seminars around Australia to show the industry what the technology is really capable of.
“The main objective of the roadshow is to demonstrate to the creative marketplace that for the first time, KPG and Apple now have the means to perform Virtual Proofing,” says Lalen Dogan, marketing manager at KPG Australia. “At this seminar, we will demonstrate that Virtual Proofing is no longer a concept, it is a reality that can save your company in so many ways.”
RealTime Proof
RealTimeProof is a suite of online proofing and remote approval management solutions for graphic arts professionals. Softproof your original files over the web regardless of file size or resolution. Remote hardproof right from your browser and reduce timelines and cut courier costs.
Matchprint Virtual
Kodak Polychrome Graphics is bringing the promise of accurate CMYK colour to monitor-based virtual proofing. Matchprint Virtual Proofing pushes the technology envelope of precision colour display beyond what is available today.

Apple Cinema Displays
Feast your eyes on more than four million pixels in the first high-resolution 30-inch flat panel display designed for the personal computer. The Apple Cinema Display line features a gorgeous new anodised aluminium enclosure to complement the Power Mac G5 or PowerBook G4. Apple displays are Proof Perfect. In fact, Apple displays are so good at colour, that you can use them in a SWOP-certified soft-proofing workflow.
Industry members are warmly welcomed to join KPG and Apple for the opportunity to be among the first to view this breakthrough technology.
This is an event not to be missed for any company who creates multiple proofs and require 100 per cent colour accuracy. KPG and Apple will be hosting two seminars at each location in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, the seminars starting at 10:00 am and 1:00pm respectively.
