Kwik Kopy Bondi builds a new future with Ricoh Pro C901

Installation of the second Ricoh Pro C901 in Australia to boost Bondi Junction Kwik Kopy store productivity.

The digital engine went into the Sydney store last week and is the second to be installed following its launch December last year. According to manager, Paul Kasper, who has owned the centre for the past eight years, he spent time looking at a number of different presses, but was drawn to Ricoh after seeing what it could do at the showroom.

“This [press] won hands-down,” he said. “We have never been as excited about a new machine before as we have with this.”

Already, Kasper has noticed differences in terms of the press’ quality – particularly in the area of business cards, a product which is highly popular with customers of the store. “They don’t move at all and are a breeze to produce now,” he said. “The vibrancy of colour and the text on the business cards is a lot better than we’ve ever had before.”

Originally, Kwik Kopy Australia’s Andy Scott planned for the store to trial the machine. After Kasper took live customer jobs to the machine at the show room, he was impressed enough to order the press. “The time, speed and quality blew us away,” he said.

Kathy Wilson, general manager business solutions and production at Ricoh believes that the Kwik Kopy store’s productivity will benefit enormously from the new machine. “It will give them a great performance and quality boost,” she said.
