Bookings close tomorrow for the LIA’s first event of the year: How will a carbon tax affect your business?
The talk, which takes place next Tuesday 22 February at 6pm, Club Five Dock, 88 Great North Road, Five Dock explores how Australia will address the carbon problem. Offering their opinions and advice are Phillip Lawrence, who will describe the extent to which the printing industry will be affected and Chris Sewell, (pictured)
CEO and founder of The Gaia Partnership, will demonstrate the CO2 counter carbon calculator application that is finding wide acceptance across a diverse range of industries and in particular demonstrate its application to the printing industry.
To conclude the evening, Printing Industries, Ian Walz will explain the purpose of and the steps involved in Sustainable Green Print (SGP) and how it can help reduce energy costs and improve the bottom line of your business. He will also outline the successes being achieved by local printers.
