Last chance to collaborate in GAMAA workshop

The workshop, entitled ‘Building High Performing Teams’ runs from 3-5 May in Melbourne. The content will focus on teamwork and has been created in direct response to research conducted by GAMAA within the industry relating to leadership.

“We identified through our research that ‘collaboration’ was a particularly weak area for most of our emerging talent,” said Sam Crock, education manager, GAMAA. “The workshop ‘Building High Performing Teams’ was created to address specific issues facing people every day whether leading a team, building a short-term project team or inheriting an existing team.”

Speakers John Urbano and Colin Beatie will run the workshop. Crock said those attending could expect three days of innovative, interactive information. “Participants don’t just sit and listen,” she said. “Our programme is highly participative and you will want to put it into action once you get back to work on Monday morning.”
