Like the well-known ad for an insurance company, the users of Quote & Print can be confident of getting HELP from when their system is first installed to many years down the track. Dave Bell (pictured) looks at how it all works.
At the user level, there is context sensitive HELP on all screens. The 'Red Book' lets each company put its individual policies and procedure online with the relevant procedures showing on each screen. Quote & Print's HELP is regularly updated.
Quote & Prints HELP also includes tutorials on all the most frequently used parts of Quote & Print as well as a complete reference manual. These can now be produced as a PDF file on request through the new Help Authoring System.

The second level of support is from the local network of distributors. There is a local Quote &Print Distributor in most states and New Zealand and most users' first point of contact with their local distributor is during the initial set up and training. All training is done one on one following a structured training program. Once the installation is complete the trainers, as well as the support team, are available for telephone support to answer your questions as they arise.
Quote & Print's customer support staff are the best in the business. They have taken support calls while fishing, trekking and overseas on holidays. They have even interrupted their holidays and returned home to help customers in an emergency. One support person was instrumental in getting a customer's data back even though the hard disk on their server had been reformatted. Others have helped their customers get up and running within 30 minutes of new hardware arriving after their computers have been stolen. Other support staff have jumped in at the last minute and helped process the payroll when the paymaster suddenly fell ill.
The other big plus for users of Quote &Print is the availability of third-level support. Quote & Print is developed entirely in Australia and the developers are available when required. Sometimes you need to know what is going on "under the bonnet".
