Letters, feedback, get it off your chest: 10 November 2010
This week, one reader reflects on LATMA’s evolution, while well wishes come in for Bob Lamont. Why not write in and let us know your thoughts on these or any of our other stories.
Re: Label body comes unstuck
As one of the original committee members in the formation of LATMA NSW it can be said that the role of the organisation has certainly met the foresight of the then industry leaders Syd Staas and David McMurray. It was their desire that the association be ultimately co-ordinated nationally while maintaining local (state) activities for the reasons outlined by the current national president. I am sure that Frank Gavrilos will manage through this phase because ultimately it’s in the industry’s interest to do so.

Re: Lamont looks to life outside LIA
He will be sadly missed – Bob was always so willing to serve the industry and was always the gentleman in the way he went about things.
The LIA and the printing world will not be same without his input. Bob – congratulations and best wishes for whatever the future may hold for you.
