What readers had to say about last week's news.

Dear Editor,

Re: Rage against the printer - You Tube fun

On behalf of all digital press operators out in LaLa Land - particularly of the HP Indigo range, I object to the treatment handed out to our smaller digital cousins by the office plods of the world. In the first of your posted videos, my heart sank when I saw the symbol of our fine 'empire', an HP desktop printer, become cannon fodder for some bored marines in 'EyeRaq'. Too often we see the frustrations and experimentations of an increasingly 'Jackass-ical' society being thrust upon our home and office block dwelling relatives, so I say now - I emplore you - stop the carnage. Granted, 'Xerox' may be the Portugese word for photocopy, and 'HP' may also be a tasty brand of condiment, but our machines should be respected as much as they are utilised in society.

I have included a link to another YouTube video:

you will find this one to be much more indicative of the kind of quality film-making you can achieve with a digital device as a co-star (and don't even get me started on the high quality print-making side of things either.) I hope you enjoy seeing a digital machine used as more than a punching bag.

Keep up the good work - I always enjoy the site
