Re: Megatrends at drupa – Andy McCourt plays his top ten
Well done Andy.
I've always enjoyed your articles and after re-joining the print industry after a 12-month sabbatical I needed this type of update from drupa so that I can sensibly discuss these trends with our members. Safe travelling.

I received a similar request by a company for 50,000 flyers which we provided a quote for. Upon further inquiries, we found out the flyers were being shipped to Ghana, West Africa which raised an immediate "red flag". I We were lucky and respectfully declined the print job, others, I am sure, were not so fortunate.

Re: 'Made in China' light boxes threaten ISO standard
I was very disappointed that this article appeared without anyone checking the facts. I have no problem with the IP issue however to use our name as supplying incorrect lighting is sadly off the mark.
The facts are not correct, the customer installed the wrong tubes 65K lighting, not Gamut (we supply 5000K tubes). Of course the wrong colour temperature will be achieved if incorrect lighting (tubes) are installed.
I was extremely disappointed the article appeared without any one checking the facts beforehand.
