Tickets are selling fast for the LIA-Heidelberg NSW Graduate of the Year awards to be held at the Carnarvon Golf Club in Lidcombe later this month.
The five finalists for this year’s prestigious award are Laura Burgett (SkillSet - Spatial Services), Dominic Holgate (Look Printing), Shane Ippaviz (Integrated Packing), Jake Tomsett (Offset Alpine) and Adrian Xuereb (Blue Star Group).
The LIA-NSW’s annual awards night celebrates the industry’s most talented graduate, and guest speakers this year include PIAA CEO Andrew Macaulay and solar power innovator Professor Paul Dastoor of Newcastle University.
Dastoor and his department’s team of scientists have developed a method for printing solar receptive ink on flexible films. This Australian first is an exciting print application for the capture of solar energy at extremely low costs.
The awards will be held on Wednesday, 17 May at the Carnarvon Function Centre, Carnarvon Golf Club, 65-95 Nottinghill Road, Lidcombe.

LIA Queensland still has seats available for its Legends for Young Care Annual Printing Industries Sportsman luncheon on Friday, 12 May at the Souths Leagues Club, 120 Jane Street, Davies Park, West End in Brisbane.
We are honoured to have three of Queensland’s most successful and straight out legends to entertain and enlighten us on past and present achievements in their sporting fields of expertise.
The guest speakers are Alistair Lynch (AFL), Kevin Walters (NRL) and Rod McCall (ARU).
