Ligare adds second Oce 6250 to digital print facility

Sydney book printer, Ligare, expands its digital print facility with the installation of a second Oce 6250.

According to Wayne Bywater, general manager of Ligare, Oce is the company?s preferred supplier due to its ongoing support and the history between the two. The new 6250 will complement Ligare’s current 6250, and comes with the addition of two extra paper in-feed units. The installation means Ligare now has a fleet of Oce equipment in its digital print facility, including two 6250 sheet printers, a 7450 digital web, and two 620/ 900 colour printers.

“For the customer, the 6250 means faster turnaround and competitive pricing,” said Bywater. “Internally, the 6250 provides a much more efficient and cost-effective workflow for our digital department.”

He also hopes that the installation with strengthen Ligare’s position in the local Australasian digital printing market. “As the printing industry evolves, our customers continue to require faster speed at a competitive price, without compromising on quality,” Bywater said.

“We will continue to boost our digital print capability and extend our digital leadership to ensure our customers are rewarded with the best service, speed and quality.”
