Lithotek links Bottcher direct to Western Australia

A new distributorship deal with Lithotek gives Böttcher a bolder presence in the WA region.

Lithotek Printing Supplies has become the sole distributor of the Böttcher range of chemistry and blankets, along with providing logistics and warehousing. Lithotek are known in the WA region as the major supplier for sales and service of Kodak plates, processors and chemistry. For several years, the company has also sold a small range of Böttcher products and was keen to develop the relationship even further.

According to Mitchell Mulligan, managing director of Böttcher Australia, the news is a strategic plan for Böttcher to strengthen its relationship with existing customers by enabling faster service and local technical support for products.

“What we really wanted to do was to increase our service and support in the West Australian market,” he said. “We have worked together for years now and this was an opportunity to take things to a new level in regards to developing both our target markets – it is a logical progression for the two businesses.”

Mulligan stressed that the move will in no way impact the region with rollers sales. Neil Rose the WA region territory manager for Böttcher will continue his regular trips to the West Coast to service customers, as he has done for the past five years.

“Neil’s role will also focus on continuing to bring the latest technology and product launches from Böttcher to the WA market in conjunction with Lithotek and also delivering product training and negotiating special projects,” Mulligan said.
