Printing Industries national communications and technical services manager, Joe Kowalewski, said the prizes were one of several strategies to create awareness of the Association and its services which included a hospitality centre providing free refreshments, messaging and computer access and mobile phone re-charging.
"We also had competitive manufacturing and Sustainable Green Print experts on hand explaining how these training programs work and the benefits to printing companies in terms of productivity gains, cost reductions, increased profitability and customer service and in the case of SGP, the benefits of an audited environmental compliance certification," he said.
"The head of the Weavers Design Group and author of the all-Australian Marketing your Printing Business training manual, John Weaver, provided tips and advice to printing companies looking to create a marketing edge.
"Many of our interstate membership services and management staff also attended providing support and liaising with members from their home states."
Kowalewski said the Printing Industries stand also provided a rallying point for delegates attending the Forum of Asian Graphic Arts Technology which was held concurrently with PrintEx.
He said all winners were being contacted to arrange delivery of their prizes. Information on any of the association's services is available by contacting 1800 227 425, via www.printnet.com.au or via email: joe@printnet.com.au
