Print and mail franchiser Mail Boxes Etc (MBE) is celebrating 25 years in Australia with the opening of two new business service centres, bringing the number of its Australian locations to 38.
In August 1993, MBE - one of the world’s largest networks of business service centres offering shipping, couriers, printing, graphic design and postal service solutions to business and private customers – opened its first Australian centre in Neutral Bay, NSW.
This was followed with the opening of Broadbeach in 1994 and Elanora (now Currumbin) in 1995 on the Gold Coast. MBE Australia now has 36 business service centres with another two set to open in the coming months.
“I started out as an owner of one of the MBE business centres in Perth,” said Clayton Treloar, CEO MBE Australia. “I quickly realised what an incredible franchise business model MBE offers and came on board as CEO in 2014. The head office team and franchise owners are all passionate about the MBE brand and committed to delivering exceptional customer service. We have an incredible team culture, which is cemented with our popular and well attended annual conferences. It’s the MBE #PeoplePossible culture which enables us to embrace challenges and ensure continued and successful growth of MBE in Australia.”
With six centres opened in the past two years and constant growth year-on-year, the next 25 years in Australia are looking very positive for MBE, he says.
Established in 1980 in San Diego, California as Mail Boxes Etc., MBE is today comprised of more than 1600 Business Service Centres in over 30 countries.
