Melbourne printer on the market for $2.1m

The business is based in the Melbourne suburb of Somerton, and was established by Michael Walker, director and owner, in 1988. It moved to its current premises in 2002.

According to an Expression of Interest document issued by Graham S. Mulhall & Co, Ultimate Commercial Printing provides services to retail printers and corporate business clients, with many of the company's 12 employees onboard for several years or more.

The business has grown solely on the basis of its reputation for quality printing, with the majority of its clients referred by existing satisfied customers. Sales have increased each year since establishment, with the business securing a turnover of $1.8 million in the 2004/05 financial year.

The business contains approximately $1.3 million worth of assets, including three Heidelberg GTO presses, a Kimori four colour press and an Epson Stylus 9000. Other graphic arts stock on hand includes a guillotine, a Horizon collator, a Horizon folder, a roller wash, a drilling machine and a DPX platemaker, as well as various other business and office equipment.

Walker is willing to be contracted on a short-term basis to assist the incoming owners in familiarising themselves with the business. For more information, contact Graham Mulhall on (03) 9894 4299, or via email at graham@mulhall.com.au
