Moore moves into more print management
The move took industry observers by surprise as Trackmdia promoted itself as an 'independent' i.e. non-manufacturing print management provider. Moore is a large print company as well as having substantial print management assetts. Trackmedia was sold by its parent, the Spotless Group, for an undisclosed sum.
“The acquisition of Trackmedia by Moore is one of perfect synergy,” said Anthony Onsley, ceo, Moore Business Solutions. “Trackmedia has quality corporate customers that add to Moore's already enviable customer list. The similarities in products and services combined with our ability to provide the market with a total end-to-end solution will strengthen our market prominence and ensure our clients receive only best in class service.”
Trackmedia has a number of forms customer contracts that will provide a good fit for the Moore group.
The directors of Moore Business Solutions, John Hewson, Peter Storey, Mark Westerman and Amir Hyster said that the acquisition would offer new developments such as broadening product and service portfolio, strengthening local manufacturing and reinforcing market positioning of the company.
Combining the two businesses could only result in positive developments for the future, Onsley said. “This decision was made with a clear purpose in mind of combining Moore's history, expertise, products and services with that of Trackmedia's intimacy within the market place to better service existing and new clients moving forward with a complete end-to-end office solution,” he said. “The combined businesses also offer increased scale and market penetration in an industry that is rapidly changing.”
