More Baldwin systems for News Limited Australia

News Limited had already called upon the services of Baldwin in 2002 and 2003 when it installed the same IMPACT global blanket cleaners at both its Melbourne and Brisbane print facilities.

Baldwin Graphic Equipment managing director Peter Tkachuk claimed the decision was a clear reflection of the company's success in working with News Limited in the past. "Nationwide News purchased Z400 blanket cleaning systems from us several years ago,” said Tkachuk, “and based on the tremendous results and productivity they are again placing their confidence in Baldwin to equip these new presses.”

The new Baldwin Automatic Blanket Cleaning equipment will be installed on the five new MAN GEOMAN presses at the Nationwide News Sydney print production centre, and will consist of 200 Impact Global units as well as the conversion of older Baldwin equipment on existing MAN GEOMAN press from dry cloth to IMPACT technology.
