Mozart and Gutenberg – making beautiful music together

The Orchestra is Australia's peak training body for classical musicians and operates in all states. Preference is for a Sydney based company, but an interstate company with a Sydney office to handle logistics would also find the sponsorship beneficial

The orchestra needs in-kind printing services in return for a package of benefits that will be tailored and suitable to the proposed investment. A formalised sponsorship agreement will need to be entered into.

The prestige sponsorship provides a wide range of benefits including logo placement, advertising space in the AYO's quarterly newsletter, tickets to performances, invites to AYO rehearsals for staff and/or client benefit, exclusive invites to key networking events held across Australia with guests ranging from Federal Ministers to corporation heads and key decision makers.

The AYO will also provide direct marketing and promotional opportunities, private AYO musician ensemble performances at company events and a range of other promotional activities.

Akin to the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) for actors and the Australian
Institute of Sport (AIS) for elite sports men and women, the Australian Youth Orchestra
provides a launching pad for professional music careers of Australia’s most talented young
musicians aged between 12 and 25.

The training is delivered via nine different programs, hot house training experiences that
transform the musicianship and performance abilities of the young people involved. The
programs run throughout the year, throughout the nation. Entry to one of its programmes is
highly competitive through rigorous annual live auditions held in six capital cities.

Each year the members of the Australian Youth Orchestra are selected from national
auditions to become a part of several highly acclaimed and prestigious programmes, including
national and international tours, CD recordings and high profile concert engagements.
The Australian Youth Orchestra is a truly national company as it reaches musicians, their
families, schools, universities and businesses nation wide through activity conducted in
capital cities and regional locations.
