Entrants in this year’s Media Super National Print Awards will need to send their entries to Sydney, as the consolidation of all Printing Industries activities continues to move to the Harbour city.
Hundreds of entries are expected to be received for this year’s Media Super National Print Awards, but those wishing to enter should be aware of new arrangements as the event’s organization moves to Sydney.
All entries for this year’s Awards must be directed to the new Events Manager, Laura Smith, at Printing Industries, Level 3, 9 Help Street, Chatswood, 2067, as NPA joins the growing list of national services and resources consolidated at the national headquarters.
Jason Allen, CEO, makes the point that although the NPA is being run out of Sydney, the PIAA is not closing any offices and that there are staff on the ground in each state.
The National Print Awards, introduced more than 30 years ago to recognise and encourage the achievement of excellence in print in Australia, is as strong as ever and has been revised and expanded again this year. General categories have been updated to reflect the changing face of the industry and several new categories have been introduced to recognise the important role design plays in the creation of effective printed pieces.
Entries for all general categories must arrive at the Chatswood office by COB on Friday 29 January, 2016. Other Awards, including the Media Super Industry Legend, the Media Super Young Executive of the Year and the Fuji-Xerox Effectiveness Award, require separate entry and have their own entry criteria and details which should be checked carefully on the National Print Awards website.
