Neopost offers smooth and vivid window film solutions

Neopost has launched unique new offerings in window film from Studiojet and LG Hausys, which are designed for visual impact and ease of use.

Studiojet Smooth Dot

Studiojet's 130-micron Smooth Dot PVC film is a self-adhesive vinyl product, using a dot-shaped adhesive that makes it semi-removable and repositionable. "Application is very simple - as opposed to using a professional installer you can have retail staff put up the prints. No special techniques needed – you can pull it down and stick it back up," said Morgan Quinn, Product Manager - Wide Format at Neopost.

Quinn said that a big advantage Smooth Dot offers retail customers is affordability. "You can do a campaign to 100 different retail stores, but don’t need to employ installers – the staff can install them. Much quicker turnaround time, and cheaper for customers to get the message across," he said.

Smooth Dot comes in gloss white and matte white, and is printable on latex, UV, solvent and eco-solvent machines.

LG Vivid Vision

LG Vivid Vision is a Polyester (PET) based dual vision window film/backlit film designed for interior mounting and viewing from inside and outside.  It has a special diffusion layer that acts like a backlit film when a light source is applied, meaning that when viewed from the inside during the day the sun lights it up to give it a bright 'lightbox' style look. At night when the business is closed, if they leave on interior lighting, the print will look like a lightbox from outside.

"For example, when you drive past a car yard, typically they have one-way vision which you can see during the day but not at night. You could potentially have one-way vision down the bottom of windows, but Vivid Vision at the top – car yards leave lights on at night, so you could get a great lightbox effect, which offers great visibility. Also being internal installation, you could save on installation costs – no scissor lifts or special equipment needed," Quinn said.

Vivid Vision is UV and latex printable - not suitable for solvent.
