Stefan R. Mahler (pictured) has been appointed the new CEO of WRH Global Australia – distributor of Ferag post-press systems - replacing Daniel Faesser, who’s been named CEO of the company’s Denipro business in Switzerland.

Mahler, who has worked at the company’s Swiss headquarters near Zurich over the past two years, has already arrived in Australia and taken up his new Sydney-based role. "Australians are welcoming and warm-hearted people and I am feeling home already," says Mahler.

The new CEO says part of the company's strength is its diversified offering. "The fact that our activities/revenues are spread between our own conveyor systems, trade machinery, service & spare parts, consumables and front page advertising helps us, of course."

Ferag has also appointed Marcel Binder as its new local sales director. "Marcel has 20-plus years of experience within the company and we are looking forward to working with him," says Mahler.

Ferag Australia is a wholly owned subsidiary of the WRH Marketing Group, which in turn is a WRH Walter Reist Holding company employing approximately 1600 people worldwide. The head office of WRH Marketing is based in Hinwil, 30 kilometres from Zurich, Switzerland.

Ferag AG has also appointed Marcel Binder as its new local sales director. "Marcel has 20-plus years of experience within the company and we are looking forward to working with him," says Mahler.

WRH Global Australia distributes Ferag and Denipro systems and represents a range of consumable and equipment partners, including Screen and Epson. The company has sales and warehousing facilities in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Auckland.
