“My combination of sales experience and hands-on working knowledge will be invaluable in talking to customers and ensuring they always get the best in terms of quality and value for money.”
David Kane joins Ferag Australia to provide sales support for the postpress sector. His main focus will be on post-press consumables such as wire strapping, adhesives and film wrapping material for both web and sheetfed markets.
A qualified printer by trade, including 14 years spent working on presses, Kane also has an established track record in sales and was previously national accounts manager with MacDermid Printing Solutions.
“My work has taken me all over Australia and New Zealand, mainly in the publication sector, and I don't think there is a web plant in the region I haven't visited at some stage,” says Kane.
“I know from experience that Ferag has a reputation in post-press that is second to none, thanks primarily to the range of its products and its commitment to excellence in service. My goal is to ensure that reputation is further enhanced.”
Both appointments are effective immediately and will be based at Ferag's Victorian office in Dingley.
