New owners take the reigns at Kwik Kopy Norwood

Shane Skinner and Phil Smith have bought Kwik Kopy in Norwood South Australia, citing the phrase ‘relationship printing’ as the cornerstone of the business.

With the business playing a vital role in clients’ marketing and communication strategies, Smith believes that this relationship building is at the heart of printing. “We’re an integral part of our clients’ marketing and communications strategies. This is where relationship building is key. We’re not simply printing to order – we’re providing a consultative, solutions-focused service from initial strategy and design right through to delivery,” he said.

This idea of strong relationships stems from the top, as Skinner and Smith have known each other for over ten years and knew their skill sets and personalities were a good match. Smith said, “Whilst Shane has excellent experience within the printing industry and the centre itself, I being relationship building, staff management and consultative sales skills to the table.”

Skinner’s parents were the previous owners of the business, so Skinner is well prepared for the future. “It was a logical step. I love the industry and we have been a forerunner in technology and innovation so it’s an exciting business,” Skinner said.

Skinner and Smith officially took ownership of the centre on 3 March 2010.
