CMYKhub is launching its self-build webstore at its PacPrint stand #0718 this year. It is a free software solution that allows its customers to build a website in under five minutes complete with a payment gateway.
Initially it will be limited to CMYKhub products but the company is looking to partner with other trade-only suppliers to extend the product offering for its reseller network.
With the company’s new system a print provider can build a live webstore in less than five minutes, including a payment gateway and over 4000 price points, with the option to update and change product prices and images with ease. The system is supported by CMYKhub’s national supply network, and it’s free.
CMYKhub says it is working to build a national network and adding new equipment including an HP Indigo 5600 and an 8-colour HUV Komori to support its customer base of small-to-medium size printers to become more competitive and increase the product range they offer in the market.
CMYKhub has identified that a common and high cost goal of most of these businesses is to develop a web store and online print management. While off the shelf solutions can be hard to integrate and expensive for small businesses, many of CMYKhub’s clients have spent up to $50,000 to get a half-finished solution that is expensive to maintain.
CMYKhub expects to have over 10,000 price points within six months, with the ability for its software to automatically update both wholesale and retail pricing.
According to Clive Denholm (pictured), CMYKhub founder, the new online print management service represents an important development allowing print businesses to increase the return on small transaction printing.
“This new software will have a massive impact on the cost of doing small transaction printing,” says Denholm.
