NZ franchise chain reaches its half way mark
PrintStop recruits another new outlet with Copy Solutions and days that there's more to come.
The Taupo-based printer, Copy Solutions, is the thirtieth business to join the Copy Solutions chain, and, according to chief executive Steve Messenger, marks the half way point for the franchise which aims to have 60 print outlets by the end of 2008.
Messenger is confident that PrintStop can achieve this goal. "We really have done the hard yards now," he said. "The second 30 outlets will be a breeze in comparison."
PrintStop's 'Hub and Spoke' business model has to date achieved impressive results, producing 165 jobs every day for 30 outlets from Kaitia to the Bluff with an on-time delivery record of 99.7 per cent.
After two years in operation, the PrintStop franchise has recorded retail revenues approaching $NZ10 million. Messenger attributes this success to the simple fact that the franchise gives customers what they want, when they want it.
"PrintStop delivers a print service model that the marker wants," he said. "It's quick, it's easy and it is economic. How many New Zealand business owners could say that about their traditional print buying experience? We think the answer to that is not many."
