Oce wide format manager reaches out to Australia
Long-time Océ employee, Neil Westhof, makes a move to Melbourne as marketing manager for wide format products with Océ-Australia.
Previously based at Océ headquarters in Venlo in the Netherlands for six years, Westhof (pictured) was formerly international product manager for the Océ ColorWave 600 and the Océ CrystalPoint technology. Former marketing manager for wide format with Océ in Australia, Paul Whitehead, has been transferred to Venlo, where he, in turn, will assume Neil Westhof’s previous role
In his new role Westhof will be responsible for the marketing of all Océ’s wide format products in Australia in both the technical printing and display graphics areas, including the Océ ColorWave and the Océ Arizona flatbed ranges, and Océ imaging supplies.

According to Westhof, the decision to transfer from Océ’s headquarters was part of his plan to gain further experience with the company. “I thought it was a really good idea to be close to the fire and operational side of the business,” he said. “From a personal perspective, I’ve always had the ambition to live and work in Australia; so when the opportunity came up, I jumped on it.”
Since starting the new role in early February, Westhof is enjoying both the job and country. “As a country, Australia is everything I hoped it would be,” he said. “I am also impressed by the professionalism of the people at Océ Australia – they believe in working hard and enjoying life, which I really admire.”
