Octane turns to iWay for web to print
Auckland-based Octane Digital chooses Press-sense iWay to power its new online web-to-print facility.
Octane director, Simon Taylor, said that his company decided upon Press-sense iWay simply because it is “feature-rich” and would offer a number of benefits to Octane’s customers.
“It can operate at a business-to-business level or a consumer to business level,” Taylor said. “iWay enables Octane to work with print management companies, agencies or direct with marketing departments purely because its workflows are very flexible.”
The partnership between the two companies is a positive development, according to Chris Graham, managing director of Premesdia Technologies, the NZ supplier for Press-sense. “We are delighted to be working with Simon Taylor, again in his new venture. Simon is perhaps one of the more experienced and knowledgeable people in the industry, his understanding of both web-to-print and variable data are excellent, so his endorsement of Press-sense iWay and Premedia Technologies is very exciting for us.”

In addition to installing Press-sense iWay, Taylor has also invested in a new seven-colour HP Indigo 5500 for Octane Digital, and is pleased at how his business is progressing.
“Web-to-print is a must-have interface for our customers, we believe with the Indigo 5500 quality and the online services, such as iWay, we have a significant competitive advantage,” he said.
“Our large customers can manage their own sites through iWay and even produce their own templates via the web interface. The other significant factor in taking on iWay is the new version 5.0 which has just been released re-enforcing Press-sense’s lead in this market segment.”
