Sydney’s Graphitype Printing Services is auctioning off excess plant and equipment following its recent acquisition by Dominion Print Group

Dominion bought the 30-year old commercial print business Graphitype last month from retiring co-owners/directors Dave and Kath Morris.

Ascent Partners, the sales agent for the deal, has announced an online auction for the excess Graphitype plant and equipment will begin on February 8 and run through until February 10.

The auction includes a ‘very highly specified’ Heidelberg CD Six colour Speedmaster 2004 model (pictured) which has been on Heidelberg’s Preventative Maintenance Agreement (PMA) all its life. Full details on this machine and the other 42 Lots can be found on this web site - http://www.printmachineryauctions.com.au/.

All enquiries can be made via Richard Rasmussen at Ascent Partners – richard@ascentpartners.com.au.

“As the Graphitype business will be moving into Dominion’s premises, an opportunity also exists for parties who may be looking to relocate into a purpose-built printing facility,” says Rasmussen. “A good commercial property lease is available from around March 2017 in Kings Park (1,975 square metres of factory including 314 square metres of office space).

“In most M&A activity there seems to be excess equipment to sell and we think offering an Online Auction, like this one, will provide us with the ability to provide a full one-stop shop and dispose of equipment quickly and efficiently and with a good return.”
