Only three weeks to go to City to Surf and the Ricoh PrintRun

Entries are coming in from all quarters of the industry and from runners of every rank. Pacers, plodders, and perspiring pavement-pounding printers of all levels of fitness are coming together to see who makes it to the finish line first.

Fired with ambition and enthusiasm to make every stride count, industry HR guru and ultra-fit strider, James Cryer, is looking to beat his recent form of around 60 minutes for the 14 km. “Last year I did my knee a week before the run so I couldn’t compete, but this year I’ll be there,” he said.

He urges everyone to have a go. “It’s a marvellous community event and a lot of fun. I expect to see many familiar industry faces as I pass.”

The PrintRun is an opportunity and a challenge to everyone in the industry who wants to get fit, have a go, to run the Sun-Herald City to Surf from the city to Bondi Beach. See how you go with your peers in the industry. Run on your own or organize a team.

The Ricoh PrintRun Pack will assemble in Hyde Park (at Captain Cook’s statute) before the start of the City to Surf for the photo opp and then meet up again at the other end at the Ricoh Breathless marquee on Bondi Beach for drinks food and refreshments. There will be prizes galore; for the fastest man and woman, the slowest stroller, the best corporate colours, the most successful charity fundraiser.

The Ricoh Print Run is a day out for young and old, running, jogging or walking the 14 km to Bondi as part of the City to Surf Fun Run, facing such fun challenges as Heartbreak Hill and Dover Heights. Training is everything if you want to get to the end in reasonable shape.
