Oxford Printing and Promotions picks up 500th bizhub PRO
Konica Minolta racks up 500 installations of its bizhub PRO colour digital press.
The Sydney-based company that specialises in design, promotional products and printing services to government and corporate clients, has been a Konica Minolta customer for the last five years.
Due to business growth – particularly in the digital area – the company needed a faster machine to keep up with customer demand. “Over the past few years we have really seen client demand grow for digital and we are now dealing with very large volumes on a daily bases,” said James Camilleri, sales director of Oxford Printing and Promotions.
“We installed a C6500 last year and have just added a C6501 with a production booklet maker, which has given us the flexibility to respond quickly to client and demand and helped us grow our business.”

David Procter, national production printing group manager, is hardly surprised by the news as he believes the machine is ideally suited to the needs of current digital printers.
“We are pleased, but not surprised, by the market’s response to this series. It was designed to offer a real alternative to offset printing for a fraction of the upfront cost,” he said.
“Businesses in the light production marked need a machine that they can afford when they are processing relatively low volumes, but one that is flexible enough to manage high volumes on demand and as their business and client needs grow.”
