Pacific magazine's Christmas gift to readers
The magazine ceased publishing in December last year, but its Christmas issue produced enough response and interest from readers for Pacific to consider doing it over again. Edited by Julia Zaetta, who has a history of involvement with family circle having edited it from 1995-1998, the magazine will go on sale 5 November and is estimated to sell 55,000 copies.
"I've always loved it [family circle] and thought it was one of the warmest, heartful and most meaningful brands ever published in Australia," Zaetta says. "To be able to get involved with that again is just wonderful."
Paul Dykzeul, publisher believed that there was a significant gap in the market for a magazine of this nature. "We're very pleased to be able to deliver an issue of family circle to the market for Christmas, a time when family is the focus and the magazine is in high demand," he said. "Under the editorship of Julia Zaetta, we are confident that the issue will be a success."
