Hot off the heels of its 650th Versant sale, Fuji Xerox has won a Print21 Technology Hot Pick for its Versant 3100 digital press.

Quentin Sandery, national manager for production services business at Fuji Xerox, accepted the award for the Versant 3100 and encouraged all PacPrint guests to visit Fuji Xerox at stand E10. "There are not many industries that haven’t identified the continued need to digitally evolve, and print is no exception. Our goal is to work with our customers to identify what digital innovation really means to them, and how it can help them go beyond the brief for their customers and their own business," Sandery said.

The Versant 3100 and 180 presses incorporate in-line finishing, and are excellent high-productivity machines, Fuji Xerox says: With industry leading quality and by combining workflow flexibility, automation and productivity, the Versant 180 and 3100 digital colour presses are able to deliver a wide range of innovative and relevant print pieces. The Versant 3100 prints at 100ppm, with 2400dpi and can handle stocks of 52-350gsm. The Versant 180 prints at 80ppm, with the same 2400dpi and stock range of 52-350gsm.

Fuji Xerox yesterday announced it had sold its 650th Versant device in Australia, with Melbourne-based printer Dinkums Print and Design buying a Versant 180 to complement its existing Versant 80 press.
