Pegasus Print Group sets up shop in North Sydney

New North Sydney digital print store marks Pegasus Print Group’s expansion into the retail market.

Opening on 1 August, the store, which is staffed solely by two employees, focuses on quick-run, fast turnaround work and is aimed at attracting the likes of graphic designers and design agencies that are commonplace throughout North Sydney.

“We chose this location due to the number of corporates in the area,” explained Wayne Finkelde, chief executive officer of Pegasus Print Group, “it gives us the ability to service their marketing requirements.”

According to Finkelde, the North Sydney store is only the start of things to come. “We are presently reviewing four other sites in the Sydney metropolitan area to expand our retail outlets,” he said, adding that at least three more stores will be opened within the next twelve months.

The next step is a marketing campaign to promote the store and Pegasus’ digital offerings. “In retail, it is essential to market yourself and over the next six-to-12 months that is exactly what we will be doing,” Finkelde said.

Plans to grow Pegasus Print Group have been in the pipeline for the last six months. At a time when many print companies are struggling, Finkelde believes that it is important for businesses to concentrate on the future.

“We have employed more than 20 people in the last year and have been growing at a nice rate,” he said. “We want to push the business along – this is not the time to be backing off.”
