Printing Industries Association of Australia (PIAA) is presenting Print & Packaging Perfection: Packaging is the brand experience, in the Auspack showcase theatre today, following its successful presentation on the same subject yesterday.

The presentation and discussion focus on the evolution of the customer experience via the tangible packaging experience. The presentation includes a call for packaging manufacturers to enter the National Print Awards in two dedicated packaging categories, as well as other categories that their creative pieces may be eligible to enter.

PIAA staff are on hand to assist with queries regarding the Awards and to take entries after both sessions. Members, and packaging companies, are invited to the session today, which will run at 12pm – 1 pm.

The Packaging Council of Australia (PCA) became part of the PIAA a couple of years ago.

The session will commence with a 30 minute presentation by Stephanie Gaddin, national membership and communications manager for the PIAA, and will be followed an open Q&A, with audience participation highly encouraged.

Members and prospective members will also have the opportunity to meet new team members Sam Puri, IR advocate and Jacobena Mills, national events manager, and Ben Real-Cornel, standards & accreditation officer. He will be in Melbourne to visit SGP certified members in Victoria, before moving on to South Australia on Thursday..

“This is a great opportunity to meet some of the newer members of the team face to face” said Andrew Macaulay, CEO of PIAA, “And of course, it is an excellent opportunity to find out more about the National Print Awards, and get your entries in before the close”.

“I hope to see many entries from our packaging sector, which creates and manufacture some of the most innovative, and delightful pieces in the world” said Walter Kuhn, president of the PIAA, and owner of Kuhncorp Print & Packaging.
