Dates for this year's state based PICA and the National Print Awards have just been released, with the five state based events in June and July, to be followed by the national awards which will be held during PrintEx in August.
Entries for the PICAs (print industry craftsmanship awards) are now open, with a strict closing date in two months time, 19 April.
All state winners in all categories go through to the National Awards, and the Gold National Award winners will be showcased at the second Print2Parliament event at Parliament House in Canberra, later in the year.
An added feature in the Awards for 2019 is that all members of Printing Industries Association of Australia are entitled to enter their first category for free.
South Australia kicks off the awards season on 26 June, followed by NSW on 3 July, Victoria on July 10, WA on 17 July and Queensland on 24 July. All events are 6pm-9pm.
The National Print Awards event is on Thursday 15 August in Sydney, taking place during PrintEx, 7pm-10pm in the evening.
