PMP Digital and Nexus IT create new marketing mix

A strategic alliance has been formed between PMP Digital and Nexus It to offer customers enhanced marketing production solutions.

The alliance comes at a time when marketing budgets and staff are being cut in the face of economic downturn. According to Graham Plant, managing director of PMP Digital, organisations from Australia and New Zealand will now have access to more cost-effective marketing promotion.

“In these economic times, all retailers and consumer goods manufacturers need to rationalise their marketing budget without compromising the value delivered by strong campaigns,” Plant said.

“The highest costs of marketing are often production and fulfilment and it is here that immediate savings can be delivered.”

Plant believes that with simple process automation and selective sourcing of design services, the marketing organisation can deliver high-performing campaigns on a reduced budget.

“This strategic alliance enables customers to eliminate financial wastage from their creative production cycles,” Plant said. “They can rapidly deploy exactly the right mix of technology, photography and pre-media services.”

John Dobbin, principal of Nexus, said that the company’s technologies, including Xinet digital asset management, Vjoon K4 editorial workflow and Dalim prepress automation, have been used around the globe with strong results.

“These technologies are open system,” he said. “Customers are never locked into ‘proprietary straight jackets’ or ‘technological handcuffs’. They are all best-of-breed.”
