PMP Digital develops photographic space
Melbourne's marketing creatives flock to PMP's Dimension Studios for photographic exhibition, Inspiring Life.
The retro-inspired photographs of both Melbourne and Tokyo were an 18-month collaborative effort between photographer John Lane and art director/model David Morton.
In Melbourne, Lane and Morton had lots of early mornings around the city and at locations like St Kilda Pier, which according to Lane "was a little bit scary at 4 and 5 in the morning with $10,000 worth of camera equipment and just the two of us."
The images are designed to be used in marketing campaigns. Keith Couzinwood of Kinc Marketing said that the cinematic feel of the images makes them appealing to a wide audience.
"It looks like a short film and we are encouraging people to tailor their creative in that way," he said.
"You've only got a split second to grab people's attention and that's what Dimension is trying to do."
