PMP pushes catalogues online
PMP makes a move into online with new catalogue service, whats4sale.com.au
Aimed at retailers and small-to-medium enterprises, whats4sale.com.au allows businesses to display their catalogues online where they can be viewed by shoppers.
PMP’s acting CEO, Richard Allely, said that the site – which goes public from 10 March – will give retailers the chance to tap into new markets and improve store traffic based upon new leads and enquiries.
“This is a service developed in response to feedback from retailers, with their specific requirements in mind,” he said.
“We expect whats4sale.com.au to very quickly emerge as one of Australia’s most popular platforms for online catalogue marketing.”
When it is launched, whats4sale.com.au will compete with Salmat’s Lasoo.com.au, which offers catalogues and online shopping across most facets of the retail sector.
Derek Taylor, managing director of PMP Direct Marketing, said that an online catalogue could extend the company’s reach outside of traditional letterbox delivery.
“We have been careful to make the whats4sale.com.au shopping experience as convenient and engaging as possible,“ he said.
“For retailers, particularly SMEs, the low-cost structure of whats4sale.com.au makes it a compelling addition to traditional print catalogue letterbox campaigns, especially in the current environment when bang for marketing buck is so important.”
