Focusing on the A3 market at PrintEx03 in Sydneylast month has paid off big time for Heidelberg. Fulfilling customer demand for non-metal plate solutions, the company sold its full year’s budget of the Polysetter 52 CTP engines.
“Customers were overjoyed that Heidelberg now has a polysetter CTP system offer,” said Peter Barnett (pictured), marketing manager. “We concentrated on providing a range of options for the A3 market and the response was fantastic. The best news is that more than half of these units were sold in a special package deal with the very latest SM 52 presses.”
Barnet also said that Heidelberg was the only company at the show demonstrating DL envelopes running at 15,000 per hour on an SM 52 press.
