Potter author auctions lucky seven novels
JK Rowling's Harry Potter series has sold 400 million copies, but her next publishing venture will be a much smaller affair.
In December, Rowiling will action her new book, The Tales of Beedle the Bard, a collection of five stories handwritten and illustrated by Rowling herself. With a print run of only seven copies, the leather-bound books will be auctioned off at the starting price of $A 67,045.
Proceeds from The Tales of Beedle the Bard will go to charity group, The Children's Voice.
As for Rowling's future, an encyclopaedia of the wizarding world is on the cards. Chances are, this book will have a much higher print run.
