Australian sign and graphics supplier Pozitive has signed a deal to become the exclusive distributor of Kiian Digital inks for the Australian market.
“It’s an important contract for us to win and we're very proud they’ve chosen us,” says Phil Trumble, Pozitive’s managing director. “We share Kiian Digital’s passion for excellence and we’re definitely very happy to be working with them. Kiian is extremely well respected in the market and has always been renowned for high quality products, service and support.”
Sydney-based Pozitive has maintained a close association with Kiian over a number of years before last year becoming one of several Kiian distributors in Australia.
“Due to our performance as one of their distributors, they started looking at other potential opportunities and we began talking to them towards the end of last year about an exclusive deal,” says Trumble. “It’s a tribute to all of the hard work put in by our team and we’re all excited by the opportunity.”
Kiian’s high quality dye-sublimation inks will be a huge asset to Pozitive’s important sportswear market, Trumble says.
“Sportswear is one of our core markets and we work with most of the large sportswear manufacturers in Australia. It is also an extremely intolerant market in terms of colour accuracy. For instance, all the jerseys on a sports field need to be exactly the same colour and they also need to be exactly the same colour as they were a few months earlier. Having a high-quality product like Kiian that we can rely on 100 per cent, with batch-to-batch consistency, is a significant advantage."
Kiian Digital is a leading manufacturer of inks for digital print, including sublimation, disperse and pigmented inks. With offices in Italy, China and the USA, Kiian delivers to over 90 countries worldwide and the deal with Sydney-based Pozitive builds on its global network.
