Pozitive to raise prices across its range

Sign and graphics supplier Pozitive will raise prices across the board, bowing to upward pressure from a number of increased cost factors.

'It's a good opportunity to see what Pozitive does': Phil Trumble, managing director of Pozitive.
No choice: Phil Trumble, Pozitive

Pozitive will increase prices by three to 10 per cent across its range as of 1 November, according to an email from the company to its customers.

Pozitive has held off on general price increases for “many years” in order to help customers remain competitive, according to managing director Phil Trumble, but will now raise prices on almost all products.

“Despite the currency losses over the past two years in particular, we have held firm on our prices either by absorbing losses or optimising our ordering and shipping.

“Unfortunately, due to sustained devaluation of the Australian dollar, rising shipping and fuel costs, and in combination with our local suppliers announcing increased prices, we have no choice but to increase prices,” he said.

“At this stage, we have been able to avoid price increases on the swissQprint ink and B-Flex Heat Transfer Media.”
