Sydney-based Pozitive has been appointed exclusive Australian distributor for the German-based bullmer range of cutting tables designed for the sign, graphics and textile markets.

bullmer’s Premiumcut range of high speed cutting tables are designed, engineered and produced in Germany for a wide range of markets. The bullmer tables can cut, crease, score, rout and are the perfect finishing device for digitally printed graphics.

“It was critical for us being so far away in Germany to ensure that our machines were not only sold correctly but well supported on a technical level,” said Marc Hasler, CEO of bullmer. “Pozitive has shown a high level of technical competence representing our good friends at swissQprint over the past four years and we are confident that their approach and commitment to the end user will achieve great results for bullmer in the Australian market.”

Philip Trumble, MD of Pozitive, said he’d been monitoring the progress and success of bullmer in the sign and graphics market for more than four years. “Whilst bullmer are the industry leaders in cutting technology for high volume textiles markets and industrial applications, they were not so well known in Sign & Graphics," he said.

“We had the right cutting technology and only had to develop the range of tools required for the market,” said Hasler. “We’ve been hard at work engineering all of the tools in-house, and have experienced huge sales growth into the Sign & Graphics sector.”

“The result is a feature packed, high quality, high speed range of cutting tables that are the ideal modular machine for the Australian market,” said Trumble. “Options can be added at any time, and the wide range of table sizes means we can customize a solution to suit our client needs and budget.”

bullmer offers a wide range of table sizes up to 5 meters wide for grand format finishing and also produces custom size machines to order. A demonstration unit has been commissioned at the Pozitive demo centre in Eastern Creek, Sydney, NSW and is now available for product evaluation.
