Print Media Group grows with Moore WA

Print Media Group heads to Western Australia after buying Moore Astralasia’s sales and business operations.

According to PMG’s managing director, Leo Moio, the purchase was part of Print Media Group’s plans to become a nationally focussed organisation. “Our acquisition of Moore in Western Australia is a strategic step to support our Western Australia and national clients and increase our presence in the health market nationally,” he said.

As part of the deal, Print Media Group will take on Moore WA’s staff, offices and client base, which currently provides print management services, including warehousing for corporate and government organisations. Moio does not anticipate any interruptions to the service.

“We are expecting to continue business as usual in Western Australia,” he said. “Over time, we would hope to offer additional support through Print Media Group that increases our value to clients.”

The purchase comes after Print Media Group shut down South Pacific Print Group – formerly Paragon Printing in Wodonga earlier this year. A statement from the company claimed that: “Work for the Wodonga site has been and will continue to be dramatically reduced to the point it has become unviable as a separate operation.”
