Print21 boosts team with new deputy editor
The industry’s media hub Print21 is growing, appointing a deputy editor, Ian Ackerman, to join the senior editorial team of editor Wayne Robinson, editor-at-large Patrick Howard, and publisher Lindy Hughson.\
Ackerman’s appointment as deputy editor comes as Print21 strengthens its position as the number one in the market; with the magazine growing year by year, the news website and news bulletin increasing in reader numbers, the industry’s only weekly video news bulletin broadening its reach, and the annual LIVE industry forum connecting printers with brand owners.
Hughson said, “Print21 is at the epicentre of the rapidly evolving printing industry. Its role in reporting, analysing, and championing the industry is clearly recognised by the market, with all indices trending upwards last year. As such it demands editorial staff of the highest calibre.
“Ian Ackerman is a well-regarded industry journalist, who will bring his experience and insight into the dynamic printing arena. I am delighted to have appointed him to the role of deputy editor of Print21, I look forward to working with him, and to seeing his contribution to the printing industry.”
Ackerman has previously worked in the technology media here and overseas, has contributed to The Australian, Lloyd's List, and Vice Australia, and in media for the oil and gas, and logistics industries. He has just started I the new role, and is contactable on 02 9213 8227 or email email@example.com
Hughson said, “Print21 already has an unrivalled senior editorial team, it recorded a stellar year just gone, with all its numbers up. Its senior editorial team is simply unmatched, and will be strengthened further by Ian Ackerman’s appointment as deputy editor. Print21’s strong team of experienced professionals will deliver valuable, relevant, informed and engaging content to the local printing industry.”
