The latest feature packed issue of Print21, the leading print business magazine for Australia and New Zealand, is in the mail, and should be on the desks of printers early next week.
The November/December issue is full of engaging features, with far more print business content than available anywhere else. Publishing editor Patrick Howard says, "Each issue of Print21 is created to provide the owners and managers of print businesses with valuable data on the business of print, and the final issue of the year is no exception."
Included in this issue is the cover story on Konica Minolta's service proposition, and profiles on long time industry leaders John Wanless from the print side and John Wall from the supply side.
Print21 Nov/Dec has exclusive features on the new Heidleberg subscription model, and the XMPie conference. It also has an exclusive interview with Paul Ross, programme director for print at the newly invigorated Holmesglen offsite learning centre for Victorian printers, and for those from further afield.
Business insight comes from leading research agency Smithers Pira on inkjet gowth, and on dye sub printing, as well as from well known industry identity Scott Telfer on seriously enhancing the customer experience.
Printer features this issue include Franklin Web with its new mega print centre, CMYKhub buying five more HP Indigo presses, Scott Print in WA, which is also investing in digital by taking one of the new Iridesse printers, and Avon Graphics which is diversifying into new fields.
Industrial and labels editor Jake Nelson has a series of great features on Labelexpo, hybrid presses and embellishing, all written to provide insight into opportunity.
The increasing trend to outsourcing print manufacturing through trade printers is analysed by industry veteran Steve Crowe.
Regular contributors Andrew Macaulay, Ruth Cobb, Daniel Aloi and Doris Prodanovic are all in there with their latest thoughts.
