This year’s meeting between printers and federal politicians will be an online live-streamed event, as Covid caution precludes the usual Canberra face-to-face gathering.

Covid has wiped out all face-to-face industry events in Australia and New Zealand, with no exhibitions, conferences or awards taking place since March, and none taking place before next year.

The Print 2 Parliament! will run on the Facebook page of the Printing & Visual Communication Association, from 7pm AEDT next Wednesday 21 October. Print 2 Parliament! is sponsored by Media Super.

It will feature the Hon Paul Fletcher MP, Dr Jim Chalmers MP, Senator Pauline Hanson, Andrew Macaulay, Walter Kuhn, Kieran May, and Jacobena Mills.

Printers are invited to watch as the industry comes together with members of parliament to discuss the industry's response to Covid-19, the widespread Proudly Printed in Australia campaign, and more topics.

Gold winners of the 2020 National Print Awards will also be featured, and viewers are encouraged to comment as they watch live.

This year’s event will be the third time Print2Parliament! has run. It is where politicians of all colours, and their advisors, meet printers to discuss pressing topics. The national Print Awards Gold winning jobs are also displayed.
