Printer’s Freedom Front comes to PrintEx
The Printer’s Freedom Front (PFF) has announced it will be holding its inaugural World Congress at the PrintEx exhibition from 4 to 6 May 2011. The PFF is calling on members of the Graphics Communications industry to register their interest for the World Congress.
A representative of the PFF, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, said: “This is going to be huge, Comrade. We stand for the rights of all printers to harmoniously unite input and output, and throw off the shackles of inefficiency and operator error.
“The aim of the PFF is to help printers, regardless of size or location, join the content and workflow revolution; to broaden their customer offering and achieve the fundamental freedom of reduced costs and increased profits,” said the PFF representative.
The Congress will feature the PFF’s stand against outdated reactionary work practices, and PFF will reveal its recruits in the fight against inefficiency and inflexibility. In the lead up to the World Congress, the PFF will be further revealing its ideas for appropriate slogans and Party songs on its website, Facebook and on YouTube™. (The PFF representative hastened to add that any similarities to well-known industry journalists was purely coincidental.)
“This is a just cause,” said the un-named spokesperson. “But we are a peaceful revolution, aimed at changing the world from within, and having fun at the same time. All work and no play makes for a very dull revolutionary, so on the evening of May 4th, there will be a PFF Party Headquarters meeting, where we will celebrate being part of this fantastic and diverse industry.”
