Printing teachers head to Melbourne for PacPrint

The conference will run over two days, Thursday and Friday May 26th and 27th with its main focus expected to be the latest ramifications of the Training Package Review and its implementation.

“PacPrint ’05 is an ideal location for the 29th annual conference as it places representatives in a position to spend a maximum amount of time visiting the exhibition. Teachers can then return to their training rooms armed with the latest information directly from the suppliers,” says Craig Henningham, AAPT.

The AAPT comprises printing industry teachers from throughout Australia and New Zealand. Representatives from each state branch meet on an annual basis to discuss issues relating to the delivery of quality education to apprentices, trainees, pre and post trade students, and commercial clients. The conferences also provide a platform to discuss technology within the industry, share resources and work together in developing delivery strategies.

“As the leading event for the printing industry PacPrint ’05 is keen to support the development of the industry at the grass-roots level and we are pleased to be able to host the AAPT Conference delegates,” says Ron Patterson, Chairman of the PacPrint ’05 Board.
